One cold winter night, we went down to Kansas City, Missouri to catch the Kansas City Chief playing a Mondal Night Football Game. Despite the cold weather, I still insisted on coming.During that season, the Chiefs have three slots for the Monday Night games. I can still remember how I was the one assigned to keep our Chiefs tickets for the game. Finding a ticket to the games of the Chiefs is difficult already and the tickets to the Monday games are almost impossible to come by.

We made our way to the Arrowhead stadium right after my classes. Though I was already in 12th grade, I was still unable to contain the excitement. While driving down, I was told that there would already be many people there tailgating. Interacting with our fellow Chief tickets holders introduced me to more traditions followed by the fans. It was surely entertaining to hear their stories. In no time, the parking lot of the stadium was already filled and more people are still coming.

The lines getting inside the stadium was crowded with people eagerly wanting to get in. People are coming in from every side. waiting in line was anything but comfortable. The popularity of the Monday games is the reason why the attendance of people is overwhelming. I was reminded again on how fortunate I was to be holding Chiefs tickets for the Monday night games.

The stadium was buzzing with excitement as we entered the stadium. It was a view of organized chaos. People are appearing from everywhere. There are people already passed out from drinking too much during the tailgating. Utter silences was experienced during the first few seconds of the game. However, the stillness of the night was suddenly disrupted by the chanting fans. The stadium was filled with the cheering and celebrations of people from different parts of the stadium. Only then did I fully understand the involvement of the fans in the games.

To avoid the mad rush after the game, we already left the stadium even before the game ended. Seven point were already in favor of the chiefs. The exact events that happened that night were cloudy but the experience is still remembered.
